Established in 2003 and located in Long Beach, California, IQA was originally focused on providing engineering and design services to clients in petroleum refining & petrochemicals. Subsequently, IQA was able to successfully broaden its client base to include oil and gas production, storage, terminals, transportation & distribution as well as chemicals, utilities, manufacturing and industrial facilities.

LEADERSHIP

Dr. Mohsen (“Moh”) Hashemi is President & CEO of IQA Solutions since 2003.
Previously, Dr. Hashemi served as President of INOVx Solutions, Senior Executive Director at Fluor, Director and Product Manager at Invensys Simulation Sciences and Department Manager at Bechtel Corporation. Dr. Hashemi is a Professional Process Engineer from State of California with MS and PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder. Mr. Hashemi has 35+ years of experience in project management and project development. He has published over 30 technical papers.

 

Mr. Andy Stasio is Vice President of Engineering at IQA Solutions since 2003.
Previously, Mr. Stasio served as Group Leader of Engineering and Inspection at ExxonMobil Refinery, Project Manager and Group Leader of DCS and Advanced Controls at Mobil Oil Corporation and FCC Technical Specialist at Mobil Oil Research and Development. Mr. Stasio has over 35 years of experience in project management, project development, process engineering, plant engineering, control systems engineering, technical management, operations & maintenance in petroleum refineries.

 

Dr. Yang Gul Lee is Vice President of International Sales and Marketing at IQA Solutions since 2011.
Dr. Lee has focused on international sales and marketing, with an emphasis on South Korea and UAE. Dr. Lee has 28 years of experiences in project development, capital and EPC project execution of oil & gas, refining, petrochemicals, power plant sectors. Prior to joining IQA, he worked for EMRE (ExxonMobil Research & Engineering) as a senior engineer in the area of capital & expense projects in refineries. Dr. Lee has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Seoul National University and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

 

Mr. Alan Ayria is Vice President of Sales & Marketing with special focus on EPC projects since 2015.
Mr. Ayria is a senior leader with 38 years of experience in project development, financing, engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) of industrial, commercial & infrastructure, oil & gas (refining, chemicals/petrochemicals, upstream production, pipelines, gas to liquids & liquefied natural gas), mining, water desalination and gas/coal fueled, solar & geothermal power generation projects worldwide. Mr. Ayria has provided consulting services in energy (oil, gas & power) and mining for the five years prior to joining IQA Solutions. In 2010, he retired as Vice President of Fluor after 30 years of distinguished service. Mr. Ayria has Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering from California State University at Los Angeles followed by earning a number of diplomas in finance, marketing and international relations programs in leading universities in the U.S.
